Matos Díaz was summoned by the sector chief of the Police Unit of his area, Parque 24. He was told that he was called by order of the State Security, and while there he was threatened for not having a work relationship and for allegedly meeting with people opposed to the regime. He was threatened with prosecution for the crime of disobedience if he continued to meet with opponents. He was detained and released after four hours.
