Yolanda Pérez, who is a political activist, has been detained since November 12 of 2014, accused of an assault she did not commit. The presumed victim is an informer of the political police who had been harassing and insulting Yolanda because of her sexual orientation and her dissident condition. Yolanda was arrested and taken to the police station and later to the detention center, where she is awaiting trial.
