Luis Emilio was taken to the prison without sufficient evidence

In Cabaret of Luis Emilio Serrano Peréz, the economic policeman Pedro Alvarez Diaz was making inspection. Alvarez detected five mistakes of shipment of goods (no entry documents), even thought Luis had the documentation, where these transfers were authorized and signed by the head of the UBGD Roberto Ochoa and the administrator Hermes Vargas. The case was presented at the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) to formulate a judicial process. Ochoa, Vargas and Serrano Pérez were detained and taken to the police station, where they remained for four days. They were released on bail in the amount of 1000 pesos and separated from their labor charges during the investigation. The police left Luis responsible, even he was not authorized for such transfers. On March 11, he conducted the trial where he was judged for nine years of imprisonment for the alleged crime of embezzlement. He appealed to the supreme court.
