Lady in White Yamile Garro was arrested and repudiated by State Security agents and by paramilitary mobs. After having participated in a mass in the church Santa Rita de Casia, she was intercepted by the mobs. She was taken to the Tarara Military Base where she remained for 9 hours under arrest.
