Jorge Luis Hernández , who is an independent librarian, was with other activists celebrating a librarians meeting when they were victims of an act of repudiation. This act was perpetrated by the police, the State Security and some neighbours. Some of the activists escaped through the back door but they were followed and arrested later. Jorge Luis Hernández has been threatened with death several times.
