Yamile Naranjo Figueredo was detained when she was leaving Ladies in White Headquarters, located in 10 de Octubre in Havana. The reason was to prevent her from attending Mass which was carried out in order to demand the release of political prisoners. She was taken to the detention center El Vivac where she was kept for several hours.
