Activist Detained on Her Way to Mass



On March 9, Graciela Domínguez Girón was detained in the early morning on the way to Santiago de Cuba by two police officers who were in command of Edgar and Raul, agents of the political police. They detained her in order to prevent her from attending mass in El Cobre. She was beaten and taken to the PNR of Palma Soriano, where she remained for more than 6 hours under threats and insults by agents of the political police.
