Activist was arbitrarily detained, beaten and robbed



Yeider was heading to the provincial headquarters of the UNPACU at Guantanamo, when he was stopped at the police checkpoint on the road from Caimanera to Guantanamo. He had to leave the transport and he was forced to be requisitioned. They discovered he was carrying two flash memories and a game console of PlayStation 3, so they detained him arbitrarily and took him to the police station where he was beaten and his belongings were confiscated. He refused to sign the documents of confiscation and the official warning.
