Alberto Corzo, an independent journalist from the Cuban Institute for Freedom of Expression and Press (ICLEP), was detained by an agent from the National Revolutionary Police (PNR). After that he was driven to the police station in the municipality of Colón. When they arrived, the official, who received Corzo, said that he was not aware of the reason of his arrest since his case was being investigated by the High Command of the State Security in the city of Matanzas. After that Corzo was allowed to leave.
