Ivo Laffite Rodríguez was at home when police officers arrived, arrested him, and brought him to the PNR (National Revolutionary Police) office of his municipality, when he was threatened with imprisonment if he continued his activism.
After two hours of detencion, the authorities opened a file on him for danger.
