Énix Berrio Sardá had to leave Cuba in order to participate in academic training in Trinidad and Tobago. Upon arrival at terminal 3 of the Jose Marti International Airport in Havana, Énix checked in his luggage as well as other participants of the program, however, when he arrived to the immigration officers, he was denied from leaving the country, that was a clear violation of immigration law. Two days later, Énix went to complain to the Immigration Directorate in the Unit 4 of Havana Police, but he was rejected with the explanation, that he "has no travel prohibition, but travel restriction". No one was able to tell him the motives of the restriction.
