Yunior Iglesias Velázquez is summoned and charged for promoting the protest of 11J 2021, where he served a preventive measure of preventive detention and paid an administrative sanction.

On July 14, 2021 Yunior Iglesias Velázquez was summoned to appear at the PNR station. He was accused of being one of the promoters of the protest of Sunday, July 11, 2021. Based on this accusation, he was arrested and sent to the criminal investigation in Caibarien. On July 19, 2021 the Placetas Municipal Prosecutor's Office imposed a precautionary measure of preventive detention and sent him to the penitentiary center for men "La Pendiente". On August 23, 2021 he was released with an administrative sanction of 3000.00 cup being low dangerousness offenses. With this offense the PNR has the authority to resolve the process without having to go to the Courts of Justice.
