On 27 February 2020, Rolber Almaguer González was detained by National Revolutionary Police (PNR) officials, Carlo and Raudel, in the municipality of Antilla. The detention took place due to an alleged theft of a horse, a crime which Almaguer González did not commit. The police also prohibit him from leaving his neighborhood and threatened him with imprisonment in case if something was stolen.
