An activist detained and threatened with imprisonment for having tried to attend a Mass (a case of Lianet González Vera)



On December 6 at 6 am, the activist Lianet González Vera was heading in the meeting in the province of Santiago de Cuba. She was arrested by uniformed police, riot squad officers and State Security Brayan on avenida Camilo Cienfuegos corner San Gregorio. She was taken to the station park known as 24 where she stayed until 11 noon. There she received threats by Brayan officer. The police officers told to Yusmary if she continued with her activism she would be sent to prison. Apart of this they would remove her child and would be taken to the house of the country. They drew up a warning report which she did not sign.
