Activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU) detained and threatened for taking pictures of shops



Yoel Acosta Games was detained in front of a shop called Los Balcones by State Security officials known as Antonio and Garrido. They took him to the police unit in the area (Morón), also known as El Gallo. There, the officials who detained him threatened him with a fine 3000 pesos under the Decree-law no. 370 for taking pictures of queues in the shops and publishing them on-line. And if he still kept playing with the police, they would put him in prison. They concluded by saying that the next detention would not be about talking, but about applying the norms. They released him at about 7 pm on the same day without any further consequences.
