Activist detained and driven outside the city

An activist Ramón Olivares Abelló was on his way to the Santuario del Cobre in Santiago de Cuba Province to attend Mass which was being held to demad the release of political prisoners and the end of police oppression. He was detained in Camilo Cienfuegos Avenue by State Security officials Kevin and Sergio. He was driven to the police department prosecuting crimes agaist state security. He was kept there until 11 am and then driven to Baitiquiry, a municipality 40 km awas from Baracoa, where he was released.
