Rolando Rodriguez Lobaina was travelling in a public transport to the Santiago de Cuba Province. When the vehicle was passing through the police checkpoint located in the municipality Río Frío, the policemen on duty stopped the vehicle and Rolando had to get off. Then he was taken to the State Security detention center known as Operations. There he was interrogated by the State Security officials known as Sergio and Kevin or Jefferson. They threatened him with imprisonment in the provincial jail if he kept travelling to the Eastern provinces, promoting ideas of the opposition and organizing people for the protests and actions against the government. He was released at about 4 pm on the same day without any further consequences.
