Activist beaten by two is hospitalized



On the 16th of November 2016 in the early hours of the morning, the activist of the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU) Raúl Duran Montero was brutally beaten by the citizens Javier and Enzos Carleé. The attack took place when the aforementioned activist was passing by the park known as Cruz de Colón, nearby the seawall of the city of Baracoa. The attack he suffered was so brutal that his tibia and fibula got fractured, and he was hospitalized for more than a month in very critical conditions. The activist says that when they were hitting him with the bat one of them shouted: "we are going to kill the counterrevolutionary worm and nothing will happen to us, because we are going to kill you all".
