Bartolo was detained and beaten while going to the UNPACU assembly



On October 11, several members of UNPACU in Guantanamo were detained on their way to Santiago de Cuba. They were going to the morning Mass organized by the UNPACU in order to discuss illegal house searching, taking of equipment and arbitrary arrests made by the police to the members of the organization. From the previous day, the houses of the dissidents were observed. At 5 am, when Bartolo went outside, he was beaten and detained. They let him go home at 12 am.
