Geobanys Izaguirre was imprisoned in Aguadores in Santiago de Cuba. One day, he asked for help as his friend, who was imprisoned as well, cut his veins. Realizing that the prison guards were ignoring him, Geobanys started to protest and shout anti-government slogans. Three prison guards rushed to the scene and started to beat him brutally. They left him with several bruises on the face and all over the body, his arm was fractured and there were sequelaes left on his finger due to the fact that he did not received any medical assistance.
