At 8 am, human rights activist Bartolo Cantillo Romero was on his way to Guantanamo, when suddenly State Security official Richard with his colleague from the political police appeared in front of him. They detained him and took him to the National Revolutionary Police in Manuel Tames. He was threatened with imprisonment and he was prohibited from leaving the city. The official told him, that he should leave the opposition and if he did not do it, he would be shortly put in jail. He was released at 12 pm.
