She was on the streets of Santiago de Cuba when she was approached by an agent of the Secret Police . She was then led to a patrol car and taken to the Motorizada checkpoint where she was blackmailed and threatened by the political police.. She is constantly threatened to be put in prison for her activism within UNPACU.
