On June 30, 2020, at around 11:00 am, the following people were arrested in the city of Holguín: Anairis and Adairis Miranda Leyva, and Fidel M Batista Leyva, who belong to the organization called Olegario Charlot Spileta Command that recently joined the UNPACU (Patriotic Union of Cuba) as it was protesting, along with several other organizations of the Cuban opposition, the death of Hansel Ernesto Hernández Galiano, who was shot from behind by a firearm at the hands of the police. The three were cloistered in hermetic offices without air conditioning, they suffered suffocating heat and Fidel Manuel's handcuffs were tightened too much, causing injuries.
They also received several threats: to be imprisoned by Decree Law 370 (Azote Law) to one year of deprivation of liberty, to be killed including minors of the family by the most fervent supporters of the regime, as well as to be accused of defamation. The arrest was performed, among others, by Lieutenant colonel and provincial head of the Confrontation Department officer Evelio (alias Alejandro), and the instructors of the State Security: Lieutenant Jorge and Captain Yendry González Sardiñas, as well as a Lieutenant colonel of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) with badge number 70502. While they were detained, Maydolis Leyva Portelles, Tahimí (13 years old) and Alain Michel Rodríguez Miranda (12 years old) were held and bullied in their home.
