In recent months, the activist of the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU) Raúl Durán Montero has suffered numerous events of beatings, threats and imprisonment by members of the rapid response brigades. On more than 4 occasions these threats have been authorized by Lieutenant Colonel Lesnier Leiva, head of the Department of State Security (DSE) in Baracoa.
