On 15th September, 2013 Marisol Fernández Socorro member of Party for Democracy Pedro Luis Boitel (Partido por la Democracia Pedro Luis Boitel), UNPACU and Dama de Blanco went out of the church in Cardenas together with other ladies when a police came to them. During a strike a woman belonging to Brigadas de Respuesta Rápida pounched her with an umbrella and fractured her nose. Marisol was put to a police car and left near her home.
