The protest leader detained in front of the polyclinics



Juan Luis Bravo Rodríguez is a member of the Cuban Youth Movement for Democracy. On 21st of October, 2013 he went to the Omar Ranedo Pubillones polyclinics with a severe headache. Since 2010 he has suffered repeated headaches when he received several attacks the members of the State Security. When he arrived, the medical refused to provide him the medication to ease the pain. Consequently, Rodríguez organized a peaceful demonstration in front of the polyclinics, to point out the appaling state of the Cuban health care system. He was taken into detention and remained 4 hour in the detention centre.
