Yordanka Week was arrested by agents of the State Security and the police while conducting a protest outside the 11na Police Unit in San Miguel del Padrón demanding freedom for a young man who was beaten by a police officer Nacional. She has been threatened on several occasions to be put on trial for the alleged offenses of insult and arrest resistance.
