Oscar León Justo was detained and forced to leave the province



Oscar León Justo (Executive Director of the Observatory of Financial Economic Processes and Social Impact in Cuba) was in the city of Camagüey developing part of workshops of a project together with Cesar Ivan Mendoza Regal (Executive Director of CEDEL), Iván Vazquez Caunedo (General Coordinator of the Youth Platform "La Amistad") and Erik Damian Machado Álvarez (Director of Communications of CEDEL). After their successful conclusion in that province, they were interrupted by 3 State Security officers who did not identify themselves and led them to a place on the Boulevard of Camagüey. Then, they interrogated them independently and accused them of organizing activities in order to confuse the Cuban civil society and not to empower it. They photographed the banner and another things they carried and threatened to arrest them in case they will not leave the province within eight hours. During the period of time they were waiting to leave the province, they were monitored by a State Security car.
