Human rights activist summoned and threatened by the State Security

Mr. Delvis Estrada Figuerola, a resident of the municipality of Caimanera, was summoned to the police station for 26 October 2018, 8 am. When he arrived, he was received by the State Security official Cantillo. Cantillo threatened him that if he met with Yoelquis Rosabal Flores, an actitivst who had been imprisoned for crime against the security of the state, he would be put in jail and no more trainings and meetings would be allowed. The victim said that he was free in his thoughts and acts and would not coopearte with a regime which bans people from talking and meeting each other. He also added that he did not mind being imprisoned for defending his rights.
