Oscar Luis Santana López, young activist from the Cuban Reflection Movement, was chatting in the park of the town of Lajas in the province of Cienfuegos with 22 other young people.
Soon, policemen in blue uniforms came to tell them that they had to leave. However, the group did not leave because they considered the park a free space for recreation.
One of the uniformed men tried to take the gun out. Thus, Oscar Luis and Yoexis undressed their shirts and said: '' if you want to shoot, shoot here''.
On the spot, everyone was detained. Oscar Luis, Yoexis y Miguel have been detained since May 17. They are accused of ''Assault''. The others were released after paying fines.
