José Manuel Navarro was recently released from prison thanks to the agreements of the US and Cuba governments. Two people went to his home to inspect water tanks, but José Manuel refused to open the door because these men collaborated with the secret police. When he refused, they went for the police officers and officers of the State Security and performed an act of repudiation. Then, they beat him on the right arm with a baseball bat and broke his hand. He was later taken to the Police Unit of Baracoa, and after a few hours there, he was released so he could go to the hospital.
