An activist was arrested as he was walking down the 8th street 8 towards his home and was taken to the police station at the streets Zapata and C. At the moment of the detention there was no warrant or charge against him for any offense, the detention was intended to question him about his meetings with different members of independent civil society that are “regulated” (forbidden from leaving the country) by the Identification, Immigration and Aliens Direction.
