Esmeldis claims that he has suffered repression and harassment by Captain Gamez of State Security, which arbitrarily arrested him on July 3 until July 7. The reason for the arrest was that Esmeldis was walking alone all the time, so the State Security suspected he was planning something, for example leaving the country.
