Activist detained at this house, beaten up and taken to the court



At 9:35, Armando Trujillo González, a human rights activist, was at home when national police and secret police officers appeared. These officials informed him that he had to accompany them and Trujillo González was taken to the police station. On the way, the officers hit him several times. Once they arrived, they continued beating him up, using a chair which caused him scratches on his head. Before being released, they told him that they opened a criminal case against him for "disobedience" and the trial will take place on 14 February at 1 pm. Then he was released at 6:05 pm. Trujillo González was sentenced to three years of deprivation of liberty. Currently, he is wainting for a result of his appeal against the decision.
