Mistreatment in Guntánamo in front of the church Santa Catalina (the case of Redesneldo Sánchez Torres)

On April 7, 11 activists including Redesneldo Sánchez Torres went to the church to have a meeting with the bishop because of the repression and beatings which were occurring in the province to human rights activists. State Security in conjunction with the police and rapid action groups surrounded the church to beat and arrest the activists. They shouted phrases "out worms" among others. After 3 hours the Bishop Wilfredo Pino in the cars of the bishopric had to take out them, especially after several calls.
