Cleider Claro Rosa was beaten to unconsciousness by prison officials in the Guantanamo. The incident occurred on Nov. 23 2013 when Cleider de la Rosa was denied the monthly visit from his family. The detainee reported that such order has been stipulated by the Major Yoervis Cajigal Cantillo, head of the prison, with whom De la Rosa asked to discuss the reasons for the decision. He was subsequently hit by the Major and other officials for protesting against their decision. The prisoner lost consciousness, fell to the ground and was dragged to the punishment cell where he remained for six days. Cleider Claro Rosa is not a member of any opposition movement.
