Celina was about to go to the church of Santa Catalina de Ricci in order to participate in Mass as all Ladies in White do on Sunday. When she was walking down the Los Maceos and El 3 sur streets, she was detained by State Security officials known as Sergio and Kevin or Jefferson. She was put in a patrol car 602 and taken to the State Security Detention Center. She was released at about 6 pm on the same day.
