The victim was going to Banes in order to do a job interview together with his party and Project Emilia chief Marlon Martonell. When on his way, he was detained, threatened and mistreated by the police, putting him by force to the patrol car, twisting his arms and covering his mouth. The victim was trying to scream "long live human rights" and for that reason, he was slapped by one of the policemen. Right after that he was taken to the prison cell. An hour before being released, he was taken to see the secret police official who interrogated him. He said that what they had done to him so far was nothing in comparison what could happen in case he kept trying to get to Banes. Moreover, they said they were going to take drastic measures against all the party members.
