On April 17, Graciela Domínguez Girón was heading to Santiago de Cuba in a car to participate in the Literary Tea of the Ladies in White which takes place monthly. Passing the Checkpoint of the Christ, the officers detained her to prevent her from reaching the destination. She was detained for 6 hours, receiving threats and offenses from agent Dairon.
