Secretary General of Cuban Reflection Movement from Camajuaní was threatened over the phone

On June 30, 2020, a strong police operation was organised in Camajuaní, Villa Clara province as a result of the call to go out into the streets made by some organisations of the opposition. That is why on this day numerous troops of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) and the Political Police (SE) appeared in the streets of Camajuaní. Around 11.00 in the morning, the time set for the civic demonstration, which demanded justice for a black citizen who was fatally shot in the back by the police, they occupied the municipal park. There were citizens who complained because the secret police followed them. The secretary general of the MCR (Cuban Reflection Movement), Librado R. Linares García, was anonymously called twice on his cell phone by alleged thuggish criminals to announce that if he dared to leave his house, he would pay the price. In previous days there were similar repressive operations in the streets.
