Lady in White Berta detained and beaten



Berta Soler was detained and beaten when leaving the National Headquarters of the Ladies in White movement by the combined forces of the Department of State Security (DSE), National Revolutionary Police (PNR), Special Brigade of the National Revolutionary Police, members of the Rapid Response Brigades and the Communist Party. The reason of the detention was to prevent her from attending the Mass at church Santa Rita de Casia.
