An activist punished for trying to organize a workshop to promote civil society

The December 16, 2015 Alberto was taken to the police station in the town San Pedro de Mayabón, where he was interrogated and forced to sign an official warning. Alberto denied receiving threats that he could be put in prison. This repression was designed to prevent any meeting planned for 17 and 18 directors ICLEP in Matanzas province, a workshop on computer security, human rights and journalism. The officers involved in the incident were: Thomas, head of the State Security in the Colon, Ramon de Arma, security officer and first lieutenant instructor State Security. The detention lasted 2 hours.
