Inmate suffers beating with serious injury to his forehead for claiming his right to make phone calls

Eider is an inmate whose right to telephone calls was suspended as a result of a punishment. He claimed that the calls are his legal entitlement and for that reason cannot be revoked. Eider's argument was considered an anti-government statement, so the prison's head of Internal Order and several Internal Order Officers beat him up and then locked him in a punishment cell. As a result of the beating, he suffered an injury to his forehead, which had to be sutured with several stitches.
