A journalist's equipment to work was confiscated



Eider Frometa Alen intended to go to the province Santiago of Cuba with the aim to do some journalistic work. When he was travelling in private transport through a police checkpoint located in the town of Río Frío, the policemen that were working stopped him and drown him to the police unit called Park 24. There, they decommissioned him of his smartphone, a stabilizer, a microphone, and an eight gigabyte flash drive. He was released around eleven in the morning of the same day after four hours of being detained.
